Introduction	Oh, where do I begin?! I live less than 10 miles from where I grew up. I have never lived more than 20 miles from there. My journey is NOT in miles. Its in years, tears, smiles, and laughs. Our family "started" in 1993 - when Paul and I got married. Since then, we've added 4 kids, numerous pets, 4 moves, and a seperation. We've survived them all:) This blog is my way of working through all our history. Our "journey" if you will. Some of it will be a look back. Some of it may be a bit of "whine with cheese". But all of it is real life. Our real life. And our real life took a tragic turn in April 2013. We suffered a house fire and lost everything, including the head of our household, my husband Paul. We miss him everyday. But we rejoice in the knowing that he is waiting for us in Heaven.
