| Introduction | I founded this blog in 2007 to chonicle my lessons of mommyhood and share them with other moms. My background is in writing and publishing books, magazines and web sites. After graduating from Smith College with a degree in Art History and Philosophy, I managed a contemporary art gallery in San Francisco then returned to the east coast to work for my family’s publishing business. Eventually, I moved to a leading IT research and consulting firm to manage a web site then launch a book publishing program. (That’s a really encapsulated ten years of launching and managing various products.) After meeting Husband and having Son, then Daughter, I started writing for magazines, launched a local magazine with my brothers, Fairfield County Entertaining, and founded this blog.
