| Introduction | My Man and I recently left our comfy home in the country for four raw acres on a remote mountain top, and an old battered 600 sq ft trailer, with little more than our two dogs, three cats, a trio of ducks, a flock of chickens, and our ten kids (yes, they all got the same daddy), and a whole pile of dreams for a homestead. I write about our adventures here as we attempt to build a more self sustaining life, the lessons learned along the way, the mistakes we make, and the obstacles we overcome. Throughout it all I keep a good sense of humor, and remind myself daily that all interesting stories have a conflict, and life is no different ~ if it was easy, it probably wouldn’t be worth doing. |
