Introduction	I am currently studying towards achieving a BA Top Up Degree in Contemporary Textiles. I am studying at the University Centre at Blackburn College. Childhood nostalgia has been a major focus to my work with elements including puppets, antique toys, porcelain dolls, rocking horses and old fashioned teddies shining through. As well as this, animals as pets has been another key theme within my work with imagery based around my own pets and pets of family and friends being a major influenece to my working style. Colour and detail are vital components which show within my work which is mainly based around the working style of print and stitch. A clear working style has now developed within my work which can be seen when looking through the images of my work. I am not sure in which direction I would like to progress but over time I feel this will become clearer.
