| Introduction | For me, teaching was and is a calling. I left corporate America to teach....27 years later, I am "teaching" teachers. That was totally Divine intervention. I'm Sandy; MTSS Coach supporting schools_ admin teams, leadership, classroom teachers, support staff, collaborating across District teams. I am a Christian, and that dictates how I see_ and get along in_ the world. I'm the youngest girl with 3 older sisters, one younger brother, and an amazing Mother. I'm mom to one adopted son, and auntie to one niece and one nephew. I try to be well-rounded, have balance and flexibility. Right now, I'm considering grad school again...doctoral work, maybe. Over the years, several administrators and colleagues have asked if I'd considered administration, many telling me that I should: "You'd be so good at it..", "If you ever get your own school, I'm coming to work for you!" I now have my school admin license (4yrs), but my passion is supporting educators, as they support students. If I can encourage, help, or empower an educator to reach higher and strive for peak performance_ mission accomplished! Could I do more in an admin role? ��Hmmm...? |
| Interests | I love singing in our choir and ushering ! Love being outside....working in my yard, walking, riding my bike, enjoying the sun, breeze, green of the trees and grass...birds singing (except that woodpecker who attacks my chimney). Allergies are least kind to me when I'd most like to be out. I enjoy time with family, church family, and close friends, but also solitude. I enjoy reading_ would love more quiet time to do so. I'd also enjoy more time to ride my bike. |
