Introduction | I work for the National Library of New Zealand, as the Adviser for New Schools. I liaise with the Ministry of Education, architects and Establishment Boards to design schools, with responsibility for the library. I also work with staff to set up and open the library, including purchasing the initial collection, which is great fun. I'm seriously addicted to books and reading - I have more than twenty books beside my bed, all begging to be devoured. I'm also raising a reader - our son is 2 years old, and got his library card at 10 days old! |
Interests | Reading, musical theatre, collecting books, reading, introducing our son to the wonders of the world that books contain... |
Favorite Movies | Diva, Ladyhawke, Thelma and Louise, Monsters Inc, Shrek. |
Favorite Music | Everything by Bonnie Raitt, Lyle Lovett, Everything but the girl, Marc Cohn, and of course Kiwi music rocks! |
Favorite Books | Current favourites are 'Little brother', 'Before I die' 'Nick & Nora's infinite playlist', 'City of bones'. I can't wait to read Rory 'Toys go out: being the adventures of a knowledgeable Stingray, a toughy little Buffalo, and someone called Plastic' by Emily Jenkins - it's just enchanting. |
If you were a cannibal, what would you wear to dinner?
Something fabulously formal, to honor my dinner guests....
