Introduction	A transplant from the southern California beaches to the central valley where I lived with my husband for 20 years, I'm now enjoying mountain living. My constant companion is an angel in dog fur named Katie, a pomeranian/cocker mix, who is a certified therapy dog and volunteers with the nursing homes, a library, and other facilities. (Our four feline roomies & the cockatiel who came up with us have since gone on to keep dad company). We have found the perfect place to enjoy God's creation. We're surrounded by great beauty, wonderful people, and we're busier than we ever were in the city. Katie recently adopted a new kitten, Sombra, to keep her company and keep her active and, not to be outdone, I added a little pomeranian/pekingese pup that I named Kasey. We have the perfect spot sitting on the front porch, me in the porch rocker, Katie by my side, while the two little ones race around the yard, to reflect on what we see and to indulge now & then in a little nostalgia.
Interests	volunteering and walking with Katie, reading, writing, "playing" in my flower beds, visiting w/friends.
Favorite movies	Old musicals, black & white who-done-its. Early Disney (Lady & the Tramp for one).
Favorite music	I'm really eclectic when it comes to my music.
Favorite books	More who-done-its (w/o gratuitous & graphic sex & violence). Debbie McComber style.
