| Introduction | Down To Earth Dharma is a pragmatic dharma project. I am just a guy who meditates, I'm not a teacher. I've worked within several different traditions from the Western Mystery Traditions to Buddhist practices over the last 13 years and believe that spiritual awakening is something which is possible, not some airy fairy, "New Age" pipe dream or something which isn't possible for mere humans like ourselves. The purpose of this blog is to function alongside an ongoing video project to discuss meditation techniques and to talk about the difficulties which may be encountered by those who choose to pursue awakening. Hopefully, over time I'll be able to build up a reasonable set of resources for those new to meditation and the path to "falling awake". |
