Introduction I am a poet, novelist, publisher and researcher. I was born in Framingham, Massachusetts. I am a member of the Boston Athenaeum, The Renaissance Center at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and The Frost Library at Amherst College. I live at The Ledges in Leverett, Massachusetts. I have designed my modern cottage in the style of a Russian dacha. I have traveled and camped in Western Europe and Eastern Europe. four times. I have been to Russia four times. I have traveled and camped in Central Asia five times. I have been to Eretz Yisroel twice. Watercolor painting in New York, tempera in New Paltz and oil in Rouen. I have worked in the vineyards of Western New York State and in the apple orchards of Southern Kazakhstan. I have written four novels the first of which is entitled Alexandra Dukhanova. My poetry has been published in Kenya, Kazakhstan and the USA. My book of poetry Trinity in Moscow has been translated into Russian in Perm, Russia.
Interests I have been doing research on our family's Khazar history and believe I know thanks to the root of our ancient family name where we were living on the banks of the Angara River (Beautiful Black River) many centuries ago before we had ever even heard of Judaism.
