Introduction	Hi! I am the mom to four great kids – 3 girls ages 14, 11 and 10 and one little boy who is 4. My 11-year-old daughter has Down syndrome. When she was a baby and I was trying to navigate all the therapists, interventions, and medical jargon and options, I really wanted a manual that told me how to be a good parent to a child with special needs. I felt like everyone I met knew a little about a lot of stuff, but no one really knew a lot about anything! And that includes the professionals. I created this blog to share the information that I know and hear about, to connect you with resources that you might need, and to create a site that will a useful resource for parents, therapists and educators. But I do want to share resources and places to find the information you need, as that is usually the hardest part.
