| Introduction | Born in Singapore, M.A. Amru started writing at a very young age, but it was not until the age of 19 that he published his first book, although that book has since been discredited by the author. Learning from his mistakes and the challenges of writing and publishing, M.A. Amru continues to publish works based on his experiences growing up in Singapore, as well as his struggles with mental health. Finding his voice in experimental fiction, he believes that creative writing serves as a useful tool for managing mental health. Alongside his love for literature, M.A. Amru also delves into experimental art films. |
