Introduction	Hi! Welcome to my picture blog! I hope you enjoy sharing in the everyday things that I enjoy; gardening; seeing new places; meeting people; hiking in the forest; walking along the beach when it's sunny and windy; listening to CBC's Metro Morning; spending time with family and friends; riding public transit; finding seashells, pine cones, chestnuts, acorns; people watching; live theater; phone calls and visits with the kids... My husband and I have 2 sons and 2 daughters-in-law, a daughter and a son-in-law. And we are blessed with 4 precious little grandchildren. In January 2011 I was diagnosed with central nervous system (CNS)lymphoma (malignant cancerous masses in my brain) so that took us on a whole new journey. The ensuing chemo and radiation put me into remission for about a year. In November 2012 lymphoma was found in my right eye again and so we went through treatment successfully again. In this blog I share our journey. We now live with the reality that every day is a gift from God and each day is filled with many blessings, both large and small. In 2015 the cancer recurred and treatment was not successful. Ellie passed into glory to be with her Lord on July 11th.
