| Introduction | Completed BFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts in 2010, Stanislava Georgieva is the recipient of the NY Photo Award 2010 for Best Personal Project in student categories with the project 'Nomads'. Besides that, she is the recipient of other photography awards for outstanding achievement in photography as Robin Forbes Memorial Award, Rhodes Family Award and Nominated for the Tierney Fellowship. She says: 'Aesthetic, composition, subject and concept are very important parts in my work. I enjoy making any type of photography that I can express what I see and 'see'. Social , psychological and existential issues in our everyday life are essential in my work.' |
