| Introduction | Born in Dublin in 1966, my family moved to Achill Island when I was 6 years old and I lived there until I was 18. I studied Communications in college in Dublin and lived there for several years before moving to London. I was involved with the Green Ink Irish Writers Group in London. I returned to Dublin in the late 1990s and studied Film Production at Ballyfermot College of Further Education. I moved to Drogheda in 2005 and set up the Viaduct Bards, a writer's group for emerging writers and poets in the area and organised readings with both emerging and established writers in the area. I ran the monthly Poetry in Motion sessions in the Droichead Arts Centre in 2010. My first collection of poetry Kill Your Television was published in 2010. Several of my poems have been published in Poetry Now, Boyne Berries, Revival, Drogheda Writes 2, Message in a Bottle and various other journals and pamphlets. I am currently working in Abu Dhabi. I am married and have a 4 year old daughter. |
