| Introduction | Native of Japan. Established ceramic career in Shigaraki which is one of the oldest and biggest pottery village in Japan. Came to US in 2001 and lived in New Bedford, MA and Appomattox, VA. Currently I live in Seagrove, NC which is the oldest and biggest pottery town in US. My husband, Takuro and I set up studio and Anagama + chambers wood kiln in Seagrove. My focus is making functional&beautiful wood fired pots in daily life. |
