| Introduction | I decided that a teaching career in Elementary/Special Education is something that would be the perfect following to having raised eight children. As I undertook my undergraduate education at Southern New Hampshire University, I came to the realization that being a teacher is more than a job but an opportunity to be more than the job itself requires. I began to define my beliefs and aspirations on the premise that all children deserve an education that enables them to exceed their own expectations. I believe that the success of a child is contingent upon a partnership between student, parent, and teacher. I believe that each student can have the best education that they deserve and that integrated and differentiated instruction can help achieve the best results. |
