Introduction	Welcome to my blog. My plan is to post every Sunday at 5.00 P.M. British time. I will be recording my work using a variety of art materials and fabric, hopefully, to produce finished textiles for exhibition. My name is Maureen also known locally as the lady who buries fabric in the local fields. I then add my own stitched and painted marks to tell stories about my rural environment. I am a wife, mother, grandmother and gardener.
Interests	I love playing with paper and paint but texture and more texture is my passion. I enjoy visiting galleries. museums and other peoples gardens.I like reading historical novels and any art books. I like listening to jazz and classical music. Having a cuppa with friends but best of all being with my grandchildren
