| Introduction | According to Typology they state that I’m a Liberal. However I beg to differ I believe that I’m a Moderate. I’m very open minded. Sometimes I can view something from a liberal perspective and sometimes I can view something from a conservative perspective. In our last presidential election I contributed to making history. I successfully executed the duties of the office of Volunteer Deputy Registrar. I registered at least over 20 students to vote. It was a remarkable experience because my self voted for the first time. So not only did I contribute to making history, I witnessed it myself. I created this blog as a requirement for Texas State and local government and I believe I can benefit from this in the long run. My biggest political influence would have to be my Grandpa. A Vietnam Veteran who put his life on the line for this country and for our freedom. Once I successfully complete this course I hope to gain a better understanding of how the government works and how it functions. Which will make me more aware of your government and result into me being a better citizen. |
