All The Way To Worlds

Introduction	This blog will be the central site for our efforts to send our son, Nyles to the World Championships of Irish Dance in Belfast April 1-8. Nyles has been dancing since he was 4 yrs old. Ten yrs later, he is still a very dedicated dancer, dedicating 4days a week to classes at Reaney Academy, often sacrificing time with friends to be the best dancer he can be. He has placed 1st in his age group in the Eastern Canada Championships for 5 years, qualifying for Worlds in Belfast from April 1-8, 2012. Nyles has also qualified for Worlds at the North American Championships 3 times, a much larger, even more prestigious competition. We would love to send him to Belfast this April because he has worked so hard, but this has been a difficult year for our family. I was diagnosed with chondrosarcoma in April 2011, after Drs found a bone tumor in the base of my skull. I have had surgery & 7 weeks of radiation therapy, meaning I haven't worked in 6 mos. Our finances just aren't there for us to send Nyles to Belfast to compete in the World Championships 2012. Here we hope to sell items I have crafted & others have donated & link you up to other's efforts to raise funds to send Nyles to Worlds.
