Introduction Growing up in New York's Brooklyn and the Bronx I experienced a fine education and exposure to the culture of New York City. I have three very fine children and three wonderful grandchildren. I have been a teacher, counselor, magazine editor/writer, program manager for the State of New Jersey in the areas of women's issues, including childcare, disabilities, gender equity, and violence prevention. I was Special Projects and Disability Officer for AmeriCorps in New Jersey. Now I write books, short stories and poetry for 'tweens, teens, and adults

Favorite Books The Stand by Stephen King and Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follet are my favorite books but I love anything in the genres of horror, political thrillers, court-room drama, mysteries and scifi. I laugh with Janet Evanovich and Chris Moore, tingle from Dean Koontz (the master of the metaphor) and Stephen King, and thrill to the mystery adventures of Kay Hooper Robert Tannenbaum, Marcia Mueller, Michael Connelly, JJ Jance, Harlan Cobin, Linda Fairstein, and of course Lee Child, creator of my favorite character, Jack Reacher.
