| Introduction | Drawing and painting has been a part of my life as long as I can remember. Education and training has been primarily self-directed with a mixture of college classes, private art lessons and workshops from prominent artists. I have worked in graphite, watercolor and my preferred medium oil for "plein air" painting.A love of nature has led me to be primarily a landscape painter. Being outdoors painting on location is my favored method of working. It teaches me to see the world around me in a more intimate way and I always come away with indelible memories of the experience. It can be very challenging but immensely rewarding. Capturing the beauty of the natural world is what I strive for and my hope is to share that beauty through my work.My work has been in juried shows, won awards over the years and hangs in private collections throughout the U.S. and Europe.If you are interested in acquiring any of my work, please send me an email.
