Introduction	I am a speech therapist who left my job at the children's hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan to serve as a missionary in a poor barrio in Costa Rica. What I originally thought would be a one year missions opportunity turned into a two year life-changing experience. Now the Lord has me on an even bigger mission field: Los Angeles, California. Why go to the nations when the nations can come to your doorstep?
