| Introduction | After an ugly split from my husband and best friend of 15 years I decided to take some time off from men. I didn't know when I made that decision that it would turn into 7 years! I spent my time away from men developing myself - professionally, emotionally, academically, and finally physically - things that I had never done for myself before. When I finally reached a point where I was comfortable with myself, and where I was in my life, I made the decision to start dating again. The problem? The rules had all changed! Starting over at 45 was going to prove to be a challenge.
