| Introduction | I write horror with what I like to think of as a little philosophic after-thought. Clive Barker and Hubert Selby Jr are the ones responsible for making me adore the craft of word crunching. I pose questions for a living, both in my work as a teacher and whilst writing. Questions fascinate me because they shake and crumble prejudices and if properly posed, they make mincemeat out of the conservative mind. My hope is that throughout my life, my questions lead to changes of mind and, more importantly, changes of heart. |
