| Introduction | Paul Haigh is Director of the Hallam Teaching School Alliance at Notre Dame High School, Sheffield, an outstanding Catholic secondary school with national reputation for ICT; it was a winner of a Becta Excellence award in 2009. Paul is passionate about the potential New Technologies have in education. He is a writer, consultant and speaker in demand and he is a regular contributor to the educational press and has made programmes for Teachers TV and radio. Paul provides training and consultancy on the strategic leadership of ICT in schools with particular reference to e-learning, e-safety, parental engagement through New Technology and the use of students own mobile devices.
