| Introduction | Welcome to my blog! I did not intend to take the title of Marvin Gaye's 1964 hit, "How Sweet It Is". I just think cupcakes should always be topped with some sweet glorius icing. I'm not a pro but I do like eating cake, and once when my Mom couldn't find time to make it anymore, I thought I should start making them myself. My inspiration is my grandmother who made cakes as a young girl in the 30s and early 40s, using her uncle's cigarette tins as her baking pan, an open fire, and a carved wooden spoon.
