I will try to give credit or references where appropriate. I want this to be a gateway for those who have a passing , or abiding, interest in Falmouth history. I encourage exploration of our two fine historical societies and, for a detailed history of most things "Falmouth", you cannot go too far astray with the fine books edited by Mary Lou Smith - The Book of Falmouth and Woods Hole Reflections. The WH historical society also produces a brilliant quarterly magazine, spritsail. |
