| Interests | I'm a seasoned trial attorney with more than thirty years’ experience. Notwithstanding my proven ability to successfully argue my client’s case to a judge or jury, litigation is not always the best way to resolve a legal dispute. Sometimes, a more pragmatic approach to a legal matter can get faster results in less time and at reduced cost. I graduated Summa Cum Laude and class Valedictorian from Pepperdine University in 1979 with my Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration. During my tenure as Secretary and General Manager of a North County construction company, I obtained my Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from National University in 1985, as part of a joint degree program where I thereafter obtained my Juris Doctorate degree (JD) in 1988. I'm active in my community, serving pro bono on a number of not-for-profit Boards, and as Judge in Escondido’s Youth Court program. I'm married, have six children and enjoy playing golf. I also serve in a leadership position at the church where I attend. |
