Introduction	I am a middle aged old bird who came to cycling in my late 20’s. I found I loved to ride my bike more than almost anything else in the world. I just want to keep riding. So that’s pretty well what I try and do. I am not an athlete, I am average in almost every way. I just enjoy the outdoors and the connection I feel with my bike and the environment when I ride. Friends would say I have become something of a ‘cycling evangelist’ in the last few years. I encourage everyone to ride, not just for the physical and environment benefits but because I believe spending time on a bike is food for the soul. I am lucky enough to have a fabulous group of friends who appreciate their bikes as I do. Over the last few years we have ridden together on some incredible adventures from London to Paris, Gibraltar (Clock2Rock), Rome (Dome2Rome) and now Cannes. The blog serves several purposes. The main one is for family and friends at home to see where we are up to. Secondly with the passing of time, days and memories merge, these pages file the memories in perfect chronology.
