Introduction	Clays Mill Elementary is home to over 600 students in grades K-5. It was originally built in 1954 and six classrooms were added to the front of the building in 1957. In 1978 the gymnasium was added to the Cardinal Lane side of the building. A renovation in 1983 added the elevator, lowered the ceilings, removed ceiling fans, and added the current library and the room that is now being used as the computer lab. It was then repainted in 2006. The building is now undergoing a very large renovation that is one of the biggest in the district. This will entail many changes and additions to the building. This blog will allow everyone to follow along with the changes.
