| Introduction | Hi there, my name is Nick Armbrister. I'm a guy from Manchester, England. As you can see from my interests, I have some cool ones and they keep me occupied. I'm rarely bored but do take time out to think. This often leads to new writing, which is my main interest. When it's not competing for my attention with music or aeroplanes or tattoos! I've been writing poetry since April 1996 and published since Nov 96. Very much part of the late 90s 'small press' writing scene, published in mags, 'zines, anthologies and later in the 00s, online and in my own books. I've worked for a publisher before but left due to editing issues. Self published a hundred books under Nick Armbrister and my pen name Jimmy Boom Semtex. My variety of work is huge. See my blog here. I've written with a wide variety of poets/authors. I'm proud to be me and live the life I do. I like working with others and new positive experiences. I'm 75% covered in tattoos and want more. Love to be creative, like hiking and the high ground and love aeroplanes. |

| Favorite Movies | Anything with a good story. Not really into commedy except old skool like Laurel and Hardy, Chaplin and Harold Lloyd. Like classic horror films like Frankenstein, Dracula etc, Hammer House of Horror films, gothic horror. Not into Scream type films. Blair Witch is ok. Like Bond films. A big fan of Stallone and Arnie and 80s films. Bladerunner is awesome as are the Starwars films mainly the old ones. I love Imogen Stubbs. |
| Favorite Music | I love music like goth, heavy metal, alternative, local bands, non mainstream and anything that is good. my Fave bands are the Bangles, the Gathering, Lacuna Coil, After Forever, Tristania, Sirenia, Metallica, Guns n Roses, All About Eve, the Mission, Sisters, Berlin, Voice of the Beehive and many many more. You get the idea. Also like Ode To LaLuna and Aegis. I loath with a passion Wacko Jacko, X-Factor, Sharon Osborne, Simon Cowell, John Lennon, Take That, Robbie Williams, most boy bands except Bros, Elton John except Saturday Night song and a few more. |
