| Introduction | Hello ! I am cyclist born in 1967 living in Oslo, Norway. I started cycling after having spent quite a long time laying on the couch causing my fitness to reach bottom level. I was dragging around a lot of excessive weight. A friend of mine finally (2011) reintroduced to cycling and it all started with entering "Birkebeinerrittet". This is a XC-marathon race of 96 kilometers in Norway, and the (or one of the!) largest MTB race in the world with around 25000 participants. Since then I have participated in this race and additional 4-6 races every year, both off and on road, and my interst for cycling has grown for each year. However I can only be the best of me on the basis of the limitations I have as a husband, father and full time employee. In this blog I will share my experiences and progress towards my goals as a cyclist. I hope you will find some interest in this. |
