| Introduction | When I was 19, whilst sat in a pub car park, my father told me to go to univeristy. His words were: "even if you do a rubbish course, you should go. You're missing out." His sketchy logic aside, I set out to establish what it was that I actually cared about enough to devote 3 years of my life to. The answer was film. I was accepted to read Film Studies at Sheffield Hallam University and 3 years later I graduated with a first class honours. I have just been accepted to the MA Journalism course at Salford University where I hope to further develop my ability to write and broaden my horizons so as to include more than the area of film criticism. Some of my critical essays have found their way on to Montage Film Reviews.com, but we have recently fallen out over the merits of reviewing films via youtube (there are none). Therefore, I will no longer contribute to the website and will instead post my reviews and thoughts regarding my favourite medium here.
