Introduction	Hi, I'm a baby boomer who has sewn nearly all my life. I've tried a variety of things, from sewing for myself since I was about 10, ( I had the best dressed dolls too ), to heirloom sewing, embroidery, smocking, and finally quilting!! Why it took me so long to try quilting, I'll never know. The irony is, that I didn't take it up until I moved from Melbourne ( the perfect climate for quilts ) to sunny Queensland, north Queensland to be precise.(the not so perfect climate, for quilts at least) Bloom where you're planted I say, and I'm trying. The bags are my latest passion. To be honest, I just love to sew!!
