| Introduction | SMB - Stephen Marc Beaudoin - is a performing artist, writer and stage director currently based in Portland, Oregon. Beaudoin has performed as vocal soloist or ensemble member with Trinity Consort, Cappella Romana, Opera Boston and Portland Baroque Orchestra; acted in multiple award-winning productions with New Repertory Theater, Lyric Stage Company of Boston, Hand2Mouth Theatre, Broadway Rose Theater Company and American Heartland Theatre; and stage directed for Opera Theater Oregon, Vox Consort, Opera Boston and New England Conservatory. Beaudoin has contributed arts journalism/criticism to a range of regional media, including the Oregonian, Portland Mercury, Willamette Week and Just Out newsmagazine (Portland, OR), Crosscut.com (Seattle, WA) and Bay Windows/South End News (Boston, MA). Beaudoin was a fellow at the 2007 NEA/Columbia Institute in classical music journalism, and is a founding member of the critically acclaimed "classical manband," FourScore.
