| Introduction | My name is Jennifer. I was born and raised in New York City where I met my husband in 2000, got married in 2006 and gave birth to our wonderful son in 2008. Two and a half years later we decided we were fed up with how our lives were going in NYC and got an opportunity to move out West.
In the spring of 2011 we picked up and left all that we ever knew, our extended families and our dead-end jobs and landed in San Francisco, CA where we've adopted the motto "Life Begins at the end of your Comfort Zone!" Because despite not being happy with our NY career paths, we were living content and comfortably, however, in the year and a half we've lived in CA so far we've been on an insane roller coaster full of emotions, trials and continued struggles to “find our way…” – but at the end of the day I feel closer to my family through it all, and I feel one step closer to being the me I always knew I could be. |
