| Introduction | Darrell (WindWalker) Scarrett is an Aboriginal poet born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. In the earlier stages of his writing career an Aboriginal elder, after reading Darrell's poetry, observed: "He must walk upon the wind to gather the words he shares with people; much like the eagle that soars in the sky bringing back wisdom from the Creator." Thus the name WindWalker was bestowed upon him. |
