Introduction	I am a self confessed fishing and boating junkie, and I love being out on the reef. There is simply no other place on this earth that I would rather be. I was born into a family that liked fishing, I spent 12 years in the Royal Australian Navy, of which 8 years was actually at sea. I then became a Fisheries Officer and did that for 13 years. Now that I have a boat which takes me to the reef, I would like to share some of those days with you. I hope you enjoy my adventures from my "backyard", The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
