IntroductionI'm a native New Yorker (I was born in Harlem delivered by a mid-wife, I chose to be born at home so I could be close to my ma.) I'm also a Dad of five Great kids. I've been married to Conchita Torres for 31 years come this march. I started trained in JuJutsu when I was fifteen, in The Bronx, at Waza Dojo, later to become Yamato Dojo run By Shihan Edward Kent. I started Biwa Ko Dojo, I believe in 1981. Because of work I left Biwa Ko in the very capable hands of Sensei Vandessel. I was not there physical sense, but always in spirit, and of course when Sensei had a test for me to see. I always enjoy those times. I've been working with Ivan for some time now putting together the Kenjutsu aspect of Eizan ryu JuJutsu. Some our fellow JuJutsukas have joined us. Not too many though I guess its because of the OUTDOOR location year round. I'm working on a book (not on techniques) my Tao on JuJutsu. I recovering slower than I thought from my foot operation but I'm coming along just fine.
