Introduction	Dangerous9strap is just celebrating our 5th year anniversary, although, I've been a leather worker for many years. I'm hoping through this blog to share my adventures into the world of watches and strap making and to share my passion with others who share the same. I only the highest quality leathers from our European based tanners, genuine exotic skins from around the world and true vintage ammo leather from Swiss, Swedish and French Ammo pouches that I hand cut and burnish. I then punch the holes for the stitching and begin to buildup the finish in a multistage process and can have as many as 8 stages depending on my desired final finish. I then hand saddle stitch all my straps using fine waxed linen thread. I then hand buff polish the leather to either a semi or full gloss finish. Every stage of the strap making process described above is done by hand by me.
