Introduction	The process of my artwork and my poetry is the entire endeavor (the gestalt) of attempting to define surreal imagery in the form of characterizations and symbols woven into a symmetry of a design using a multi- media of water colors, oil pastels, Japanese brush pen,pen and ink, acrylics, charcoals, often in a collage. The concepts are derived from my intellect and translated into an emotional depth of meaning by the colors on my paint brush as I characterize my subconscious in a surreal and expressionist design that is continuously improvised in my media. My work may be primitivistic and symbolic, often child-like in nature. It reflects, my politics, my experience, and my education, in a reflection of ideas translated to the parchment I paint on within a philosophy of optimism and futurism.
