Introduction	I'm a Canadian that recently became a widow. This blog will be the continuation of my previous blog that was called "Around the World with Helen and Tony". Now on my own for 6 months, it was time to write the final chapter in that blog and on that part of my life and begin anew. I now live in Victoria BC and will be heading out on a three month European adventure beginning April 2011. This time I will be journaling from the perspective of a mature solo female traveler. I have set this up so that I can blog from my iPhone. Wish me luck!

Favorite books	The "Outlander" series. Who doesn't love Jamie?! The current rage of "The Girl Who...." books by Stieg Larsson. The entire Inspecor Linley series by Elizabeth George.
