| Introduction | Artist, writer and cultural entrepreneur Serena Kovalosky spent 18 years in the travel industry before retiring her backpack to focus on her goals as a visual artist. Moving into an artists' loft in Montreal, Canada she left behind the 9-to-5 corporate culture for a more creative lifestyle. Years later, she returned to her rural roots in upstate New York to further her artistic research of the organic form, and found herself drawn back into travel - exploring country roads from behind the wheel of an old Chevy Lumina. Combining her passion for food, art and travel, Kovalosky has taken on the role of an "Artful Vagabond" as she travels regularly (in-between art exhibitions) and chronicles her discoveries in this blog.
