| Introduction | Captain Sensible.... that's the stage name. If I'd have known I'd have a prolonged 35 year career playing punk rock I might have chosen something with a bit more dignity but there you go... Actually, it has to be said that I've had a lot of fun spreading joy and happiness around the World with the Damned, so do come and see us if we're performing down your way as we're STILL out there doing it, mad fools that we are! Travel certainly broadens the mind though, and I've learned a lot since the days when I was a snotty young punkster kicking a beer can down Wardour St. I tend to actually make it to the hotel bedroom these days rather than keep the poor old night porter busy running backwards and forwards with trays of alcoholic beverages until the early hours. No, I like to see a bit of wherever it is they have sent us.... the sights, cafes, trams, local markets, art galleries, brew pubs, that kind of thing. So what with all of that, and my strong views on current affairs these blogs are going to be kept pretty busy I guess. Anyway, thanks for dropping by, and I look forward to reading your comments. |
