Introduction	I'm 42 and happily married to a wonderful man for 5 years. We've had 4 failed IVF attempts. We weren't informed of my "diminished ovarian reserve" until after the 3rd IVF cycle. Unfortunately during that 3rd try the doctor punctured my ovarian vein which resulted in an abdominal blod clot that nearly killed me. That ovary - my good one - later had to be removed. Now, 3 years later, we're trying again - this time using an egg donor & a different practice. Unfortunately we got a bad batch of eggs and the 4th IVF try didn't work either. But I'm stubborn and not going to let this bump in the road deter me. We have plans to begin a 5th IVF cycle in the near future...and hopefully THIS time it'll work!
