| Introduction | Hello, my name is William Reedy. I arrived in Daejeon, South Korea on New Year's Day. So you could say that my new year was filled with many new experiences. I was born in Tupelo, Mississippi on June 25, 1984 and have since lived in Sarasota, Florida, Peoria, Illinois and Orlando, Florida. Though born in Mississippi, I consider myself a Floridian considering I have lived almost 20 years of my life in the Sunshine State. My family consists of my father Robbie, mother Melody and brother Matt; however, since both my parents remarried, my family has gotten considerably bigger with the "steps". I am a graduate of Catawba College in North Carolina with a degree in English and minor in Religion. I spent my first year out of college teaching American Literature at a high school in Orlando. After one year, I decided that I needed to try many different things while I was still young. I had a college degree and teaching experience and Korea needed teachers apparently. Well, long story short and a bing-bang boom, I find myself smack-dab in the middle of blah blah blah, stinky but tasty food, bad drivers, and somewhere in the ballpark of a million Daejeonites(?). |
