Introduction	Now a 'serial' volunteer Post retirement my next big adventure was at Olympic Park for 2012 Paralympics as a Games Maker (see separate blog for how it went). Hooked on volunteering after 2012, I'm offering my services to other major sporting events and charities where I've worked in famous surroundings, met famous people and made some fabulous friends amongst my fellow volunteers. I've enjoyed travelling since 1994 when I made my first 'Big Trip' to Australia. I was a Geography/Geology teacher for nearly 40 years and an Advanced Skills Teacher specialising in 'Coaching for Teaching and Learning' since 2004. Now retired, when not travelling, I can probably be found in the garden or on the allotment unless there's volunteering to be done.
