Introduction	My grandfather was a decorated war hero who served in the USAFFE during the second world war. He died as a result of his wounds during the Battle of Bataan a couple of years after the war officially ended. The stories of the people he saved is a story of national valor that encourages me to keep his memory through war's images, a reminder that war should not repeat itself.
