| Introduction | Sean Farrell is the son of Kancho John Farrell, the highest ranked American student of the late Mas Oyama in the Kyokushin martial arts system. Holding a Blue Belt in one of the best pure stand up styles in the world, Sean has a strong grasp on standup striking and fighting in general. A fight analyst first and fan second, he is devoting every moment of his life to the betterment, education, and expansion of these sports with a passion for combat sports that will be shared and felt by all. Introduced to K-1 at a very young age by his father, Sean has viewed thousands of fights in his life spanning over K-1, UFC, Pride FC, DREAM, Strikeforce, King of the Cage, Shooto, boxing and the IKO1 World Championships, as well as many others. Although many fighters have competed in combat sports, his passion was solidified by watching K-1 in the early 1990s when Dutchmen Peter Aerts and Ernesto Hoost dominated the sport, as well as long time friend of Sean’s father, the late Andy Hug (RIP). Sean wants to spread this knowledge of combat sports to all who will listen and always attempt to educate those who won’t. |
