| Introduction | From Haiti, I migrated to the United States in 1998 and immediately started to work for Carnival Cruise Lines on board their vessels. Three years later, I started my journey to become a business consultant/auditor. I earned a Masters Degree in Accounting from FIU in 2008 and I am a graduate of the 2008 National Banking School – University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce in Virginia. For the past few years, I have worked for a regional accounting firm providing an array of assurance services to companies from various industries including financial institutions, not-for-profit organizations, and others. As an experienced audit professional, I have been committed to maintaining professional standards and quality in all audit services. I have worked closely with clients to maximize my understanding of their systems and operations. I have strived to obtain an in-depth understanding of the client's business and exceeded their expectation by assessing risk properly and planning the appropriate combinations of audit work. My Journey to this point has been very humble and appreciative of the many opportunities offered by this great country, the United States of America. |
